Tippen Davidson 349

Posted By Cortny Sasso, Monday, December 9, 2013

Tippen Davidson's Garden was planted in front of the Roxy Performing Arts Studio. The Address of the garden is 1645 SW 107th Ave, Miami, FL 33165.

Tippen Davidson was the president, CEO, and co-editor of the family owned and famous Daytona Beach News Journal and was the founder of the Seaside Music Theater. Tippen Davidson received many honors throughout his lifetime. One of the many honors he received was an Honorary Music Doctrine from Stetson University, the Distinguished Career Award for service to Professional Theater from the Florida Theater Conference, Business Committee for the Arts National Award, and Florida Professional Theater Association's Fallon Award. This shows how involved Tippen Davidson was to the musical world. The garden, which was created in memory of Tippen Davidson, was planted in front of the Roxy Performing Arts Studio and Theater located in Miami, Florida. This location was chosen for the garden because of the event that take place at the theater. Tippen Davidson brought the London Symphony Orchestra to Daytona allowing the people to experience the majestic sounds of the instruments and giving them a feeling that they would never forget. The Roxy Performing Arts Studio and Theater, I feel, has the same effect on people. They both bring the happiness out in people by giving them something they love, the performing arts. I feel that Tippen Davidson would be very pleased if he were to attend the Roxy Performing Arts Studio and Theater today because it is lively representation of something he clearly loved to do. Tippen Davidson deserves all the respect he gained over the years for all the work and effort he has put into the musical world.
