Calvin N. Payne Garden 433

Posted By Marvin A Ortega, Saturday, December 14, 2013

 Name of Garden: Golden Eagle

Address : 2775 west 52 st hialeah fl 33016

Dedication: Both Calvin and Martha Payne were very generous people whom were always donating and making a better surrounding for the community of Sarasota. They donated about 60 acres which was valued to about $250,000 to be used in constructing a public park for the community. With that being said the garden I chose is a very giving public park in which also does to give back to the community. As what started as just a garden grew into adding a small play ground for their families to bring their children and spend quality time. They also contribute to the community by providing us holiday spirits, when it becomes Easter they plan an Easter egg hunt for the children, and also when it comes to the holidays that are coming like Christmas they add huge lights in the park and add a Santa house for the kids to come visit Santa clause right here in the hot weather of Miami Florida too. This garden has a huge relation to Calvin and Martha Payne in which they also donated to other gardens to keep it moving and alive. Calvin and Martha were both adored by their generosity by many different kinds of people from the amounts of donations they contributed from boaters to golfers and baseball fans, etc. Same as the contribution of this garden it brings out the joy in all to be able to bring families closer to create new memories with their children, lovers, and whom ever else is special to you.
