Dr Frank Adamo was an American Doctor and a war hero honored for his medical service during World War II. Adamo was sent to the Philippines as an Army surgeon. There, he developed a new procedure for treating gangrene that saved infected limbs to avoid amputation. Life magazine called him "Bataan's medical hero". After being a prisoner of war, he came back to Tampa where he resumed his private practice and later retired in 1973.
I tried to do the garden in the FIU College of Medicine but it was too complicated to accomplish. However, I contacted a family member that had been living in the Philippines for 5 years, Dr Maximiliano Sacasa. He agreed to let me do the garden in his back yard where he normally has meetings with fellow doctors.
The location of the Garden is : 16414 Sapphire St Weston, Fl 33331
