Use cleaner energy

Posted By John Constantinide, Thursday, May 22, 2008
Cleaner energy resources should be exploited to their fullest extent. Locations that have obvious sources of renewable energy, such as the abundant amount of solar power that can be produced in Florida (The Sunshine State) and the southwestern US, can have industries dedicated to renewable energy production. And, what state wouldn't want renewable energy industries to provide jobs and produce energy that can be potentially cheaper than energy from nonrenewable sources?
Florida Governor Charlie Crist, giving a thumbs up for having solar energy plants in Florida, said, "Producing solar energy in the Sunshine State just makes sense." I applaud Governor Crist for taking a leading role in using the state's resources to benefit Floridians.
