Miami-Dade County Schools Earth Day 2014

Miami-Dade County Public Schools has once again partnered with artist Xavier Cortada in presenting Native Flags, an eco-project that consisted of planting a native tree sapling alongside a green flag at every school. Other presenting partners include, the Reclamation Project, the Florida International University College of Architecture + The Arts ( where Cortada serves as Artist in Residence), The Deering Estate at Cutler, and the National Association of Counties.
