Miami artist Xavier Cortada, founder and creator of the Reclamation Project (www.reclamationproject.net), will make a presentation at a teacher workshop organized by MuVE at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science. Workshop participants will focus on bringing eco-art to their schools and communities. MUVE is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an eco-art teacher workshop on Saturday, October 4th. The workshop is all day and has an associated cost of $30. For more information, please see the image below, or open the attached file. Please respond to this email to register. Feel free to share with any teachers who might be interested! We welcome educators of all types (informal, formal, university) from anywhere in South Florida! If you are a MDCPS teacher, professional development points are available for completing the workshop. However, signup for the workshop is not currently online; if you are interested in participating, please email me and I will let you know as soon as you can sign up through the PD portal.
