About the Artist

Jan has always found ways to express herself creatively. Currently, she is painting with acrylics but finds herself drawn to mixed media. She particularly enjoys spending time out in nature, both in Florida and Michigan.

She is a world traveler which has had a strong impact on her life and her art. Her next country visit is to Russia.

Artist's Statement

My art helps me to maintain a balance in my life. It has helped me to become more
purposeful an more focused. It also continues to help me express myself in more meaningful ways.
My intention is to help others free up their artistic hang-ups. We are all artists at heart.
