About the Artist

Syl Cerri is a self-taught artist from The Netherlands, based in St. Augustine, Florida. She prefers to paint with acrylic on panel. While often experimenting with new media, she always returns to creating beautiful, inspiring and bold colored flowers.

Artist's Statement

Mysterious, uplifting and inviting are words that come to mind when I paint the flora of our universe. Bold colors and nature’s beauty inspire me. Depending on the mood of the moment, the colors and the type of flower, I listen to Native American music or heavy metal to help me create. Peace!
