Developed by Xavier Cortada, director and artist-in-residence of FIU’s College of Architecture + The Arts’ Office of Engaged Creativity, the project commemorates Florida’s quincentenary in 2013.

About the Artist

Jessica Sandin studied her MA. in Art. Education and BFA at Florida International University. She is an art educator. Group exhibit participation- Miami:MDCC 1992, FIU 1996, William Noble Art Gallery 1997, UTD Hispanic Culture 2003, & Lowe Art Museum 2003. Tampa : South Shore library 2009, TMA HAEA 2010 & TMA Five by Five 2012
