About the Artist

Pat Hayes is a retired researcher who is now a full-time artist. He works figuratively using primarily pastel and acrylic media, and abstractly using stuff from his workshop; wood, metal, plastic and a variety of glues and fasteners.

Artist's Statement

Florida provides me with space, light, friends and a wonderful coastal landscape where live oak trees, palmettos and tall pines all grow together next to white sands and blue water.
