About the Artist

Bruce Pflueger is an artist-in-hiding. He has never shown his work even though his walls are covered in his paintings. He paints only in oils and usually focuses on landscapes in Europe in large formats. He is a world traveler, engineer, film maker, and entertainment manager and is now officially adding artist to his resume.

Artist's Statement

I have never painted flowers before but my girlfriend asked me to so of course I did. It was a different experience as I usually paint very large canvases of landscapes. I love the color of the spiderwort.
