About the Artist

Patrica Fay is a Professor of Art at Florida Gulf Coast University, teaching courses in ceramics, Caribbean culture, and interdisciplinary studies. 

 

Artist's Statement

I sunk my roots in Florida fifteen years ago, and believe my back yard to be the most beautiful place on earth.Making this piece for FLOR 500 gave me the opportunity to celebrate the subtleties of this extraordinary landscape.
