About the Artist

Holly Rutchey is a visual and musical artist. She has participated in many juried art shows in Florida and miniature art shows across the country. She has also completed two musical CDs and written the musical score to an award-winning documentary short film.

Artist's Statement

For this piece I wanted to portray the feeling of a botanical piece of a century ago, also suggesting the influence of detailed botanicals.
