FLOR500, Garden 218 Cody Fowler, Attorney (1892–1978) Cody Fowler was a prominent Tampa attorney. A veteran of World War I, he joined a Tampa law firm in 1924, and later started his own law firm. In 1950, Fowler became president of the American Bar Association. In the late 1950s and 1960s, he chaired the Tampa Bi-Racial Committee. He was active in community and political matters throughout his career.
