FLOR500, Garden 25 Filo de la Rua, Public Official (1846–1893) Filo de la Rua served as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Escambia County. An 1861 legislative act authorized him "to hold, exercise and perform the duties of the office of Keeper of the Spanish Archives at the City of Pensacola." During the Civil War, he served in the 62nd Alabama Regiment. He returned to Pensacola at the end of the war and resumed his post of Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Filo de la Rua served as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Escambia County.
