FLOR500, Garden 36 Silas Gibson, Early Settler (1885–1981) Silas Gibson moved to Camp Walton from Alberta, Canada in 1916 with his wife and children. The family settled in the area that later became the community of Wright. Gibson was well known for his vegetarianism and for attempting various types of agriculture such as organics, vineyards and Satsuma fruit trees. Eventually, the Gibsons settled on a dairy farm.

Silas Gibson, Early Settler 

(1885–1981)
