FLOR500, Garden 47 Conrad Kupfrian, Businessman (1833–1892) Conrad Kupfrian, a native of Germany, was a Pensacola businessman. He started the Pensacola Streetcar Company to introduce low cost mass transportation to Pensacola. His horse-drawn street-cars began operation in July 1884, but the company later converted to electric. Kupfrian also built an amusement park as a destination for the streetcar system in the evenings.

Conrad Kupfrian, Businessman

(1833–1892)

Conrad Kupfrian, a native of Germany, was a Pensacola businessman. He started the Pensacola Streetcar Company to introduce low cost mass transportation to Pensacola.
