Roc, and the Americana hotels, and redesigned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian
mall. His extravagant, over-the-top hotels helped make Miami Beach into a
glamorous, world-famous resort. In 2012, the Florida Chapter of the American
Institute of Architects ranked the Fontainebleau first on its list, Florida
Architecture: 100 Years.100 Places.
