About the Artist

Willene Johnson has lived in Gainesville Florida for 23 years. After graduating from Troy University with a degree in Studio Art she moved to Orlando and then Gainesville Florida. Photography has been the medium to communicate a love for nature and the diverse human story. These communications have been displayed in many venues in North Central Florida.

Artist's Statement

Photography is a form of meditation. One must meet and become part of the subject. Be present to blend into its’ environment and follow the rhythm. My artistic passion is for the image to draw the viewer into the experience.
