About the Artist

Terrie lives in Tallahassee.  Her work is represented by Kittrell/Riffkind Art Glass in Dallas, Texas and Bender Gallery in Asheville, N.C.   2012 Exhibits were "Divergent Visions-Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of American Studio Glass, "Pinnacle” a National juried exhibition, and "Third Annual Juried Exhibition” for the FL Museum of Women Artists.

Artist's Statement

Glass is my canvas.  Vitreous enamels and frit are applied using traditional painting and drawing techniques to create the imagery in my work. Abstraction is my focus; however, I hope to bring the same energy to pieces that are representational. The work is kiln-fired multiple times to 1450 degrees.
