We are asking artists to find the Region in which they live and from that Region's list of wildflowers select one they would like to interpret. For example an artist living in Region 1 would select a flower from Region 1's list.

We have divided the flowers according to Regions where they grow. These Regions are a group of neighboring counties. Our goal is to pair the natural beauty of each Region with its own artistic individuality.

One flower per artist; we are highlighting 500 different Native Wildflowers and 500 different Florida Artists.

The 500th anniversary occurred during April 2013 .  However, we are still accepting online submissions.

Yes. In fact, the sooner you let us know of your interest in a particular flower the better chance you have of being able to select it before someone else does. You may contact us directly or simply fill out the online application form at the bottom of each available flower. When you fill out the form online, you will receive an automated email reply from our site, shortly after that one of our team members will contact you to follow-up and assist you along the process.

Absolutely, the original artwork is yours to keep. We only ask for the a high-resolution digital image of the work - 300 dpi at least 1200 x 1800 pixels / 4” x 6” print size

TIMEOUT = If you have trouble with our online Artist Application form it could be because of a timeout issue. The system has a safety mechanism, timing-out after 15 minutes. What we recommend is that you have your information ready ahead of time so that you may copy/paste in the information for the form. This way you can avoid a time-out issue with the website.

UPLOADING IMAGE= There is a maximum of 30MB per upload. This is the maximum for single and multiple images.

If you are still experiencing problems with our site or any other questions please contact us
