Mr. Cortada's participatory efforts are eco-art projects, which aim to increase awareness of the importance of environmental restoration. Set apart from most environmental initiatives, eco-art projects involves communities to realize the importance of restoring their environment at the local level to improve the quality of life. Through participating in these projects, communities can help preserve the clean air, water, soil, and food that they use.
