Hanging Gardens: Main

"I aim to create vertical gardens inside the library comprised not of plants we want to grow
, but of those we want to kill."

--Xavier Cortada
The work will be exhibited during Spring 2011 at Miami-Dade Public Library System's Main Gallery.
To participate in this collaborative eco-art project locally, please contact Urban Paradise Guild's Sam Van Leer who is serving as the project's coordinator.

Using exotic invasive plants from East-Central Alabama, Hanging Gardens is also being implemented as the final assignment (download PDF) in Professor Christopher McNulty's combined intermediate-level and advanced-level sculpture class at Auburn University.
